Earlier this month (Feb 11th), we were once again up to Columbia Gorge Community College for a fun event they call, “The Snuggle Is Real”. We get to take up some of our adoptable animals so students and staff can pop in for short snuggles and stress relief.
This year we took Prancer, our PRAA pup, Sugar (we don’t know why she hasn’t been adopted she’s adorable), and several kitties. Sadly Lolli wasn’t in the slightest mood to be social but Twig was a huge hit. However, the center stage was stolen by Birdie our Kunekune piglet.
In the days following the event, Twig, Birdie, Ava, and Lolli found their furever families! Unfortunately, we were so busy socializing ourselves that we didn’t take a single photograph.
Our sincere thanks (thank you all), go out to everyone from the college and their families for helping to make this event so enjoyable and for the beautiful blankets that were made for our FFRi babies, Kendra’s etched glassware (she donated to sale proceeds to FFRi ♥ and proceeds for the raffle sale of a puppy and a kitten supply basket). I also want to thank Andrea, Lurel, and Reed for volunteering to assist.
